Here's the run-down of the last 15ish housrs.... pardon me as I purge... It's very theraputic! hahah!
Last night I got about 3 hours sleep since Hopie's ear was hurting her. I finally just slept on the floor of her room... good to get some kind of sleep... bad because I didn't hear the alarm. I woke up with 25 minutes to get Hannah up, dressed, fed, and to school. Barely made it but did- thanks to Scott staying home so I only had one to manage. Then he left.
I took a quick shower and since the doctor's office had no openings for any doctor all day long..... what's that all about?... I took her to convenience care... Yuck! 1 hour and 15 minutes later we were called back. Haley was a trooper but over it. Can't really blame her. Then to examine Hopes ears... oh, I have yet another strong willed little girl... they had the doctor, me, and then he called in for 2 nurses.. that's 4 grown-ups to hold her down so he could look in her ear. There was tons of wax, so after removing that... and consoling Haley who thought that we were trying to torture her sister.. ( she too was crying and saying "let's go mom! let's go mom!") we had a positive for an ear infection.... I pick Hope up only to be barfed on... she had been freaking out so hard that she barfed?!?! Lovely! haha!
So, I give them the lollipops that they sooooo earned.... walked out to the car prescription in hand to see my van... in the rain and cold, with a flat tire. I called Scott since my back up Mel at this time is car-less... and he came from work. I was not amused and did not want to wait so I said forget this... and drove home on a flat... talking on my cell to my mom going 20mph looking like the epitome of white trash... " she can pay her cell bill but can't get tires for her car".... anyway, got home, Scott came, took the van, the pharmacy computer was down so had to go down meridian.. need I say more?
While he was out and about I was trying to get a few zzz's.. so... of course I got Hope down but Haley was resisting. I was not in a mood for this so forced her to sleep with me in my bed for 30 minutes. She fell asleep.. I did not... I was afraid I'd be late to get Hannah... Scott got her so I just had started my moment of "ahhh, this is over.. let's laugh about it"... ok, not yet... and Haley came down stairs... mom, I had an accident in your bed........ Does God have a sense of humor or what?
But I am happy to report that as of 9:45 pm I'm starting to laugh about it... that's got to say something.. like maybe I"m out of touch with reality?
