On the 25th, Scott's birthday, the kids had success night at school. This is when they invite parents to come an look at their portfolios and see how they have progressed through out the year. Hannah showed us her portfolio and her favorite parts were drawing and writing. It was interesting to me how when she did self-evaluations she usually marked herself on the low side. When I asked her about this she said ," Mom, if I had more time I could have done a lot more"- oh to be so creative!
Haley showed us her scrapbook and I can't wait to get it this year! There is a 4th grade teacher who is a professional photographer as well and he took the cover shots for all the kids. Since they have had the same teachers, Haley and Hannah will have identical ( more or less) scrapbooks for 1st and 2nd grade- thank you Mrs. Benjamin for making my life easier! I'm so so sooooo behind on scrap booking! ;-)
