For Mother's day this year we went out on a family date. We hit a movie (Rio) and dinner ( The Iron Chef). Scott and Haley had been to the Iron Chef on recently on one of their dates before Greece and Turkey I think... anyway, they had a great time and so we decided to take the entire family for Mother's day. The kiddos loved it. Haley loved being the kid with the "inside scoop" on what was about to happen, Hannah almost backed up into the beverage cart at one point when they cleaned the grill with a huge flame, and Hopie's eyes about popped out of her head during the "onion volcano" presentation. Very, very, fun! I am so lucky to have a wonderful example of what a great mom is in my own mother. She is textbook motherhood perfection....and I am also very lucky to have my 3 H's in my life.
