Snow!!!

We woke up this morning to about 2 inches of snow! We had a 2 hour delay so we started the day with a snowball fight before school. Hopie slept through the first round, and Kaitlyn and Cade were not here yet. The Imbers were still sleeping but Hannah and Haley had a great time frolicking in the frosty stuff before school.

Here Hannah is making the first mega snowball of the day. I hear that she made one 10 times this big during recess at school!

After taking the first round of kiddos to school, I came back and took the second round. Hope, Kaitlyn and Cade had a fun morning of making forts, drinking hot cocoa and playing games while eagerly waiting for school to be out so they could play in the snow. Finally, Hope got her chance and she loved it! (and we love the hat and scarf made by our own Auntie Em!)

Kaitlyn and Cade- he was soooo bundled up! I love how we coordinated the passy with the outfit! Very stylish!

Our sisters from next door- Ryan was out for a bit but all the pictures are of his big coat and no face! I'll work harder tomorrow- from the looks of things I'll have another snow photo shoot opportunity then!

Here is the whole gang! They made 3 snowmen and attacked one of our favorite neighborhood teenagers Vince. I just yelled there's Vince... get him girls and they went wild! He is such a good sport!

They have already closed school for tomorrow, the temp is 22 as I type this and it's snowing and blowing outside. It is so pretty! I just hope that we can keep our power on! Scott worked a ship today and they had to close down operations. He'll go back tomorrow to finish the job and then most likely spend the next day or two thawing out! I love the snow!
