My cousin Shannon and his wife Rosie were able to come and visit us for a few days this past week! I was so excited to have family out and the girls were so excited to meet (or re-meet in Hannah's case) her cousin! Shannon lives in Tulsa now, but was able to meet Hannah when he lived in Atlanta and we would visit our Georgia family while we were living in Tennessee. Need a flow chart or atlas yet?
Anyway, Shannon and his wife Rosie were out in Seattle for Rosie, a photographer, to shoot a wedding. They were able to make it a long weekend so we got to hang out for a few days. Of course, we took them to the mountain. It didn't show up, but the snow did so that was fun! Scott also took them to see a few waterfalls on the Little Mashel river. So pretty!
Scott took them on the hike at Longmier ( sp?) since the road to Paradise was closed. Shannon is showing his inner beaver here!
Look at all of the snow! Our first real round of it this season- and it's even going to hit us in town they say this week! That will be great! We had such a great time with our cousins! Makes me miss being close to family, but I'll take these little unexpected visits any time! Shan and Rosie are making plans to come back in the summer when the mountain might cooperate a little more and they promise to bring their daughter Gabriella with them! We can't wait!
