Easter in the Neighborhood
Every year (accept for one) I have been involved in doing an egg hunt for the neighborhood. This year was no exception. The girl's helped me stuff about 900 eggs the two days leading up to the hunt and a neighbor helped me hide them the day of the event. It was so much fun! We started with the hunt for the 0-5 age kiddos and they had a blast! Then we moved to the park and had the 6-12 year olds go. I staggered the start time this year so that the little ones didn't get ran over by the big kiddos but in doing so, I think that the older ones lost out on some of the candy. I tried to do just 2 hunts this year instead of up to 5 in years past- I think that we will do 3 hunts next year and break them up into better age brackets. Either way, I think they all had a good time!
Hannah searching in the bark. We buried quite a few!
