Pioneer women

Last week we did our best to be women of the wild west. We attempted homemade fruit leather and prairie bonnets. The bonnets turned out.. the fruit leather was more like fruit jello... but we ate it! We have this great book that tells all about pioneer living, survival, games, food, etc. etc. and since Hannah is so into the Little House on the Prairie series right now we did our best to make half pint proud! It was a fun experiment and the kids enjoyed themselves so that's what really counts! I think we'd like to give that fruit leather another whirl!
