I will be posting tons of pictures etc. etc. later but for now can I just say... in honor of St. Valentines comming up... I'm in love! Yes, I am in love with the sun, I'm in love with fish tacos ( which I have had every day except one since I've been here), I"m in love with chips and salsa- nothing new there- I"ve had that almost every MEAL! Yummy, I'm in love with the Mexican way of life.. I think that maybe I was a Mexican in a former life!
Here all of the speed limits and stop signs are just a suggestion- something that I could get used to very easily. The drivers are fast and crazy but really curtious as well. If you see someone blinking their lights at you in the states usually it's a warning of the police up ahead- however here, it is a warning that something is in the road- for instance we've almost been up close and personal with a few vaca's ( cows), cabarallos ( horses), and today we dodged our first group of goats ( no clue how to say or spell that one in espanol). It really makes the trip through the desert exciting! ha ha!
Here the term " in a Mexican minute" can mean from 5-20 minutes- and it's still acceptable! No mean looks or dissapiontment over your tardiness.... etc. etc. I'm so going to be using that phrase when I get home!
I really think that I should maybe keep my vacation going here and see what other simularities I can come up with... I'm sure that there are mamny, many more! I do miss my little chickas at home though! I can't wait to bring them here some day! They would so love this!
And in ending this love note, I'd like to state that I'm really in love with my tour-guide extradinare husband! Thanks babe for a great vacation! If you couldn't tell, I loved it ( and you!)

Your trip sounds wonderful. Know the food made a hit and not having to cook I'm sure was a treat. Eager to hear about everything and see the pictures. Happy you are home...not talking for a whole week was almost unthinkable. We did miss keeping in touch...spoiled, I guess. Love, Mom
