Scott was actually working on the real Valentine's day, so he decided to celebrate a bit early with his "ladies" as he calls us. We went to Seattle, took the link and the light-rail. Had a subway lunch then went to the Pacific Science Center. We visited the science center last year and noticed that it was cheaper to get a family pass than it was for one family visit... so buying that pass was a no-brainer. Even tho we don't get to Seattle all that much, we have used it quite a bit and here's why!

We saw an IMAX show on bugs. Here the girls are doing their best praying mantis impression!

We love the butterfly house! If you look closely on the flower you'll see one. We loved trying to identify the different types of butterflies! It was really humid in this exhibit... we joked that our oldest two moved from Tennessee too soon- they are for sure Washingtonians when it comes to their humidity tolerance!

Here is our brave Haley holding a cockroach! Yikes! This thing was huge- needless to say she was the only one who held it... actually Scott did for a minute but was so ticklish that it didn't last long! EEWW!

Another butterfly shot

Our girls in front of the totum pole.

We finished up the evening with a surprise visit to the Rain Forest Cafe for dinner. Here are the girl's posing with the over sized frog. This was the girl's first time, well, except for Hannah. We took her in Nashville when she was just a baby and she cried every time the "storm" came. She did much better this time! haha. They all loved it!
We had a great time! We are so happy that we got to spend time together as a family! We really felt spoiled and after all.. isn't that what Valentine's is all about?
