Today Scott turned 39!!!! When asked what he wanted for his birthday.. I got the usual I don't care babe.. whatever.... then he added maybe to sleep in- so sleep in he did! He came down stairs around 10 and the girls and I had decorated, and made a brunch of coffee cake and breakfast buritos! Yummy! We then attempted to go disc golfing as a family.. but after about 3 holes, I decided that maybe the disc golf crowd we were with was not as "family friendly" as I had wished for- no pot today just a lot of "potty talk" :-0 So the girls and I went to watch some kids at the BMX track while Scott finished up another hole.
After disc golf, we hit yet another park for some playground fun! Scott got some really good pictures! What a good sport to hit the playground on his birthday!!
We ended the evening with dinner at home, and then our neighbor the "cake lady" brought us a cake for Scott- yummy! We shared with some of the neighborhood but kept quite a bit for ourselves! It was a white cake with margarita mix in it with lemon filling and lime frosting- if that doesn't taste like summer I don't know what does!
We are off to sleep now- the kids go back to school tomorrow, Scott is going to play basketball at some crazy hour like 5:00, and I have to get it together for a 5:00 meeting here at the house, and a road trip to Idaho on Thursday!... ahhh... so much for our relaxing weekend! It is officially over- but was so much fun while it lasted!

What great pics! I love the festive balloons and crepe paper. And the girls are so photogenic. Glad to see you had fun!
