THE ROUFUS HUMMINGBIRD

This week Hannah gave her first report for Quest. They have been researching birds and Hannah's bird is the Roufus Hummingbird. They learned how to create an outline and write a report, they drew pictures of their bird, wrote a story about their bird, and then gave a speech about their report showing everything that they had learned! Thanks to Mrs. Benjamin- Hannah's homeroom teacher- she was not nervous about getting up in front of the class. Hannah has had lots of opportunities for sharing at school and they use a microphone and everything. Scott, Hope and I were able to go and watch! Hannah did a great job! I'll try to scan in some of her pictures and her story later! :-)

Way to go Hannah! You don't look nervous at all. That's a huge accomplishment. And what fun that you all got to be there for her!

Hannah you look like a professional speaker. I know your report was excellent and I'm eager to hear it and see your illustrations. Hope's picture is adorable too. You are amazing!

Hannah, we would love to read your report about the roufus hummingbird. We think the one that's living near our backyard may be a roufus. Next time we get together, would you share your report with us? Love you, Poquaw & Granny
