First day of school!

I can't believe that today was the first day of school! The girls were very excited and could not wait to sport their new outfits! Hannah is taking charge of her dressing and is trying her hand at mixing and matching colors, patterns etc. as you can see by her first day outfit. Haley still lays her clothes out the night before only to change her mind in the morning! :-) Even Hope is getting a fashion opinion! Today it was her pink princess sweat outfit because it was soft! I wish that I would have fixed the porch before we took these pictures but I know that you are looking at them instead of my lack of curb side appeal! :-)
We walked a little over a mile to school. Look at a few of these pictures and you can see how bad the traffic was backed up! It was backed up over a half of a mile!! Yikes!
After dropping off our sisters.. Hopie had enough energy left to jump on all the rocks she saw on the way home. She also pulled the wagon once we hit our neighborhood! She ( and I) had a great nap today!!! One benefit to having both kids in school all day! haha! She did cry for her sisters, and especially Haley at nap time- Haley usually reads her a story or sleeps with her... but we made it. Mom was an ok substitute!

Both girls love their teachers and had a great day. Haley's teacher even e-mailed me that she is a great roll model for her peers!! Way to go! That's what this mom likes to hear! Especially from a teacher that has had big sister the last 2 years! :-)

That's great! My kids gave each other golden showers today. In the front yard. In front of parishioners.

Then again, look at who their father is. I will be lucky if they don't end up in prison.

Too cute! They look so grown up. So glad that you get to be there for those moments and glad you took pics! Sure do miss you all!
