Fun family day!

Scott left this morning for New Mexico so yesterday we did our "family fun before dad goes away" day. We were going to go hiking but then decided to shake things up a bit from our norm and went to the fair! I can tell that the girls are getting older, instead of just looking at the animals and having our face painted as in years gone by, they have now discovered the excitement of "the rides". I usually let them go on one, maybe two rides each while at the fair but their daddy was in a spoiling mood yesterday and went crazy with the tickets! ( by our standards anyway) They had so much fun! The kids did the rollercoaster- Hope was not a fan, the giant slide, the feriswheel, the carossel, the airplanes... it was a ton of fun! I have a lot of great pictures but for some reason I can't upload them? Hopefully I'll get them on here soon. We saw the animals- they were so cute, and came home and made lemonade slushies! It was about 85 yesterday so the slushies were a welcome treat to the end of an exciting day! We will miss Scott but we are glad that this trip is domestic so we can talk every day! :-)
