Finding the perfect tree
Once we came home from Tennessee my mission was to get ready for Christmas! I really wanted to get the tree while mom and dad were still here so we all ventured out to Cook's family tree farm, where we have bought our tree the past 3 years now, and began the search. It was a really cold night and it only took us about 10 minutes! Scott only had a certain amount of cash and of course the tree we wanted was a bit more than that, so he used his hard bargaining skills and got us our tree for the right amount! The hard negotiation went something like... "Hey, it's cold and I've only got x amount of money... can we have this tree?" Well, who could see 3 little girls with Christmas Teddy bears in toe and grandparents wearing Santa hats and refuse! Mom and I took the girls on a few "light detours" on the way home and gave Scott and dad enough time to have the tree in the stand, waiting for us when we got there. After hot chocolate our tree hunting excursion was complete.
