The community center down the street had a tree lighting ceremony complete with school choirs, lots of elected officials and of course Santa. After listening to the choirs, we saw the big wigs decorate a tree then we all sang and the big guy appeared. He led us outside to light the outside tree then back inside for snacks and a chat with Santa. The girls must have been very good this year since they got exactly what they asked for! Hopie wasn't too sure about him so I squatted beside her and leaned out of view for the picture. I got a nice quad workout from Santa... gee thanks! :-)
