Let the Sunshine In!

Today was a beautiful day in the Northwest!! Finally, summer has hit! I think that it is near 80 today! Wow what a change from our usual liquid sunshine! So, of course we had to arrange a playdate at the park. We went to one of our favorites that has a hiking trail along a wooded area and a wet land. Today we didn't see much wildlife, possibly because we were part of a large group of kids and moms, oh and one token dad represented.. way to go Scott! He had the day off and came for the fun and to try out his new toy. I'd like to say our new toy but at this stage of the game it is still just his. He got a camera for his birthday/father's day and it arrived last night!

Here is a picture of Hopie and me at the playground. We were just behind the rock wall that leads to 3 slides that Hope has mastered quite easily. She loves yelling once she gets to the top of the wall, "mom... look at me!".. and if you don't answer right away, she will repeat the yelling until she is acknowledged... too funny!

Are you noticing the sky?!?! Not a cloud to be seen!!! Hannah and her pal Becca made the most of the swings and tried their best to fly in our clear, blue sky!!!

Scott took a great paparazzi picture with this one. Our new camera has a super zoom on it so Haley didn't even know that we were watching... I think I'm gonna like this camera.... not sure if the girls are though- it might be a little harder to get away with things now, for instance let's say like climbing up on the outside of the slide instead of going up the ladder..... hmmm..... :-)

Mia has Hope by a year and 3 months in age. Hope has cleared Mia in height and probably is close to passing her in weight too. We have a lot of fun being called the Euro Giants by our teeny weenie Asian pals next door.

Another shot of paparazzi dad!

This was a great day for monkey-ing around at the park. We had about 7 moms, and who knows how many kids so it's fun to just take over a place when we show up. Tomorrow is suppose to be another warm day so stay tuned for more adventures of the hood.

I see, MOPS park days are just not good enough for you!!! ha ha, no really, we need to get toghether, the boys have been begging to see your girls forever. In fact, now, everytime we are going somewhere, Hunter asks, mom, did you remember to invite my friends, I want to see Hannah! So we need to pick a day! Call or email me.
