Gee... one guess where Scott took the girlies on Friday while I was off relaxing? You guessed it, hiking at Rainier.... his happy place. What a great picture! I guess that the weather was great and they had a ton of fun!
Hopie was perched in the backpack so she didn't make it into this picture... but I just think this is so cute. These two should be old pros on the Sunrise trail. They've been on it tons of times with their dad!

The girls were especially excited about the critter sightings. They saw 3 chipmunks and even a baby one. I think that they even fed them a snack?! I know one time Scott stuck a cheeto in his nose and laid down just to see if a chipmunk would come and get it... and yes, it did and yes, we have the picture to prove it. As far as I know there were no foreign objects removed from my children's nostrils by varmints on this hike. At least that I've been told of!
The wild flowers were in bloom and just beautiful. Hannah told me that she really tried to pick some for me but since it was a park she thought that she might get in trouble. I suppose she is right but they sure would have been pretty on my table! :)
