North to Alaska!

We had a great time with two of my brothers. Paul has been a pastor in Corvallis, Or for the past 5 years and Emily my sister-in-law worked at Oregon State University in the housing and student life department. Emily had a great opportunity to work at University of Alaska Anchorage and took it. It is a great promotion and she's really excited about it. Paul is looking into pastoring a church in Anchorage. He's had some phone interviews and will continue that process once he arrives. Dave will be working on becoming a teacher. There are quite a few opportunities for him up there to teach hopefully music and P.E. He will be a great teacher since he is awesome with kids. Both the guys are excited that there are 3 ski resorts within the city limits....I'm so jealous! I guess that they drove something like 500 miles today and are hoping to get 700 in tomorrow! Sammy slept for about 6 hours today Paul said.. .could it be that he was worn out from all that fun with the cousins?! It was a quick trip but we sure had a good time. Thanks for all of your prayers for their safety on the road up North. We are sad to have them be so far away... but I'm really excited to have a new place to visit. And tickets from Seattle to Ancourage aren't that crazy!.... I guess this is a warning guys that we'll come visit! You can run but you can't hide from our family! :-)

Okay, the one of Dave with the girls is just too cute! That man needs to be a daddy! So, are they gone?

I somehow missed the fact that Dave was moving up there with them! That doesn't mean you are going to follow does it? Cool new place to visit, maybe the uncles can teach your poor deprived children how to ski :) ha

Love your blog Debbie. The pictures are awesome and description of your time together with the boys great. Love the Alaska music...you're something else...but you knew that, didn't you? Have a great weekend with Scott home and Hannah's birthday celebration - we will be thinking about you all.
