I thought that I'd send out a quick update. They have cancelled school here for tomorrow and are evacuating all around us. The Puyallup River and the Carbon river have crested and are causing record flooding all over town. They have closed I-5 so it looks like Scott is going to be staying in Portland for an extra day or two. We are in a high area so looks like we are ok. I think that mudslides are going to be the thing to worry about on our end of town. I'll keep you posted- if we have power that is :-)
I took Hope back to the doctor today. She wanted to hear how Hope's lungs were doing and Hope is much better! While we were there I had the Dr. look in Haley's ear. She came home yesterday with an ear ache but no fever. So today.. yes, you guessed it the doctor confirmed that she has a big ear infection and now has her own batch of antibiotics to take. Geesh!
I hope that we have an uneventful day tomorrow. I'm going to declare it a jammie day and probably eat a lot of cereal :-) Really setting the bar high eh?

Oh wish we lived closer. I could bring over our cereal and we could have a sleep over! Could you imagine the energy in your house, though? Yikes!
Maybe you should just get medicine for the entire family? Sorry to hear the cooties are making their way through your house. I hate it when the happens in my home.

Glad you guys are safe from the flooding for now - poor Washington state is really getting the worst of a pineapple express! If it makes you feel any better, both Evelyn and I are on antibiotics, too. Thing is, Evelyn gets the bubblegum-flavored pink stuff, while I'm stuck with the ugly green horse pills four times a day. Glad Hope's getting better and I hope Haley follows suit soon!
Hey Deb! It's jammie day over here, too. I think we need to get together and put a movie in for all the kiddos. Then, you and I can kick our feet up!! HAHAHA!! As if we wouldn't have some drama unfold before us. Oh, well. Real life is great! :)

oh dear Deb! I hope you guys get a day of rest tomorrow adn that you can keep your "head above water" (sorry for the unfortunate punn). I mean, don't get sick yourself and get those girls back to feeling healthy again. Love ya sista! :) Hey By The Way- is Hopie on Amoxcacilan? (tragic spelling I know) It's kind of like pink crack for Evelyn, she gets crazy energy after her dose... just asking maybe it's just my kid :)
