Tonight I took the girls to read to Rover at the library. We called up Hannah's friend Erin who loves dogs and as it turns out we were the only people there! We had a chance to read to 3 really sweet dogs and the girls loved it! Rudy here was the rock star of the dogs. He is a 165 pound English Mastiff and just a real mellow dog. Hannah and Haley loved reading to Rudy who actually closed his eyes during Hannah's story for a little nap. Hopie on the other hand did not want anything to do with the beast and was sure that he would eat her. Needless to say, we'll have to work on our "love level" for Rudy where Hope is concerned, but the other two would have snuck him home if they could have!

The idea of reading to the dogs is great...know they loved their stories. You must have had a fun time...
