checkin' in

I feel like I have neglected the blog for a bit here... and know that grandma's around the country want me to check in so here's a quick attempt to recap the last week or so..... :-)
*Scott is doing great with the loan stuff. He's met with a few people already so that is really encouraging!
*The van was finally fixed last night! Our neighbor fixed it and Scott assisted :-) I drove the kids to school this morning and it was so nice!
* Because the weather has been so nice here as of late, the girls and I are back to walking home from school and hitting the park circuit on the way! Yeah for blue skies and exercise!
*I think that I got a job?! Coordinating home stays and teaching for a group of students from an all girls Japanese school.... I'll hire Scott as my assistant if he's good! :-) They will be here for 3 weeks in the summer so now it is planning time!
* I'm still working on my teacher certification. I'm waiting on transcripts from U of O... and need to do my writing assessment... really I just need to find the time to finish. Maybe this weekend?
* Scott will be going to Mexico leading a tour at the end of February.
* Scott will be going to Egypt/Jordan for 19 days in March.... back to the travel life for that month-it will be great fun for him.. not to mention a pay check haha!... maybe we'll have to plan a trip to Portland one weekend while he's gone!? He's gone all of March except about 6 days. He'll be home just in time for Spring Break!.. I doubt he'll be able to take time off but I know by then I'll be ready for a change of scenery!... or company!?
* Hannah is really into drawing right now. She has started to keep her drawings in a folder so that she can look back at them when she is "old".
*Haley's smile is starting to fill in. She's doing great in school but doesn't know why some kids are mean... me neither! We are taking a little break from riding the kindergarten bus for now. That seems to be where the trouble is.
* Hope is talking non stop- nothing new there. She fell last weekend and landed on the basketball court on her lips and nose so we are getting daily, hourly, actually more like minute by minute updates on how she is healing.... too funny. She is busy this morning helping me do laundry and watching her... lets see, last count 7 babies in my bed.

So there you have it. Today is a half day so I better go get my stuff together!

Yay about Scott & the van...I'm sorry about Haley & the bus. Ugh, kids can be so mean. Thanks for the update! It's good to know a bit of what's goin' on. :)
