Go Team!

ok this is so cute, however, neither Mel or I were ever cheerleaders or really the cheerleader type so I"m sure I speak for her when I say we have mixed feelings! haha! Mel was the brain-i-ack in High School and I was the jock I guess. Funny, now that I think about it, since my "work out" is either walking the kids to school or doing my step aerobics in the living room... and her brain is used when she crunches numbers for a sell but other than that...???? I've moved a long way from my 3 sports days! :-) But I did try out for the school mascot in Jr. high..... a cheerleader beat me. But I'm not bitter!:-). So for now... aren't they.... give me a C-U-T-E- what's that spell? ( I"ll have to get back to ya on that one.. I bet Mel knows!) :-)

Alright I have nothing against Cheerleaders .. I actually had many friends who were, to be frank I thought I was going to try out...but let us face it between my bad knee, my inability to have gone out I never made it to try outs. Didn't know that hee hee..
Anyways, I should not encourage my girls to be cheerleader because of the stereo type but if you really think about it they have to keep their grades up, they do community work, they encourage others, always postive and hey they obviously practice their spelling and they have to have a good memory.
But those pictures don't really show what I hate about it.. those skirts well do I need to say more....

I think that God has a sense of humor when it comes to that! I WAS the preppy little ( I really miss the little part) cheerleader who could not play a sport if my life depended on it, but I could do a pyramid or dance my way anywhere.....what do I get, two very, very athletic boys that want their momma to play catch with them.....and the 4 year old is better then the momma.....It is funny how that works.
