Today the girls and I needed to get out of the house so we took off to find our adventure! We ended up at the Old Cannery in Sumner. This furniture shop is so much fun! It is about 10 acres of furniture.. but that's not the fun part... they have tons of trains and free popcorn- That's the fun part! :-0 My dad would love this place, I can't believe that we haven't taken him there! When we walked in there were trains over head and even one that you could climb into. Back in the kid's section they have a train display with about 6 different trains going at once. Today they also had Santa, but instead of waiting in line for 1 1/2 hours, we decided to go outside and have a horse drawn carriage ride instead. I told the girls that Scott would want to see Santa too and since he wasn't with us today we'd need to wait! Whew! Got out of that one!
After the carriage ride we went to the "dinosaur park".. I think it's real name is Loyalty park, but it's a cool place what ever name it is going by. I was able to get a few Santa hat pictures off before it got too dark. We enjoyed the lights of a few new neighborhoods on the way home and now it's almost bed time. We had a fun day of flying by the seat of our pants and finding some adventure along the way. I have a feeling that this trait is going to come in handy in the next few months... more on that later! :-)
