Father's day weekend

This past weekend we went in search of a father... we new Scott was going to be gone to Brazil, but thought that my dad would be here for his visit, but he is still recovering at home in Missouri so.... we went with plan C and hit the road to Portland! There we found Scott's dad Russ and both of the kid's great grandpas and had a great time celebrating! We played cards, ate lots of food and did a lot of laughing!

Monday before we left for home we went to a neighborhood park with Granny, Grandpa, Andy and Evelyn. Aunt Brigetta was working VBS much to our disappointment (haha) but we had fun even without our auntie.

Here is Haley climbing up the chain wall. She had a great time playing tag with her grandpa! I'm not sure who was having more fun the girls or Russ!

Here is Hannah on the space age hoola hoop deal-ee-o thing. I"m sure that is the proper name! The girls were spinning almost non-stop from the time we got there to the time we left! Oh to be young and not barf on spinny things! :-)

We had a great time in Portland and got home last night around 5. We are looking forward to celebrating with Scott on Sunday when he gets home and with my dad in August when they come! We'll just keep on celebrating all these great guys all summer long! :-)
