Friday was a really fun day! We had a free day until the graduation party in the evening so I was able to hook up with two of my really good friends from High School.. really we go back to grade school! Amy lived about 2 -3 "blocks" (I guess) from us and we went to the same school and church. Dena came to our church in Jr. High ( I think)..... anyway, we added it up and it had been like 15 years since we had seen each other! Where has the time gone? Crazy!
Anyway, we met up at the Park... we got there a little early so that the kids could have a picnic and scope out the play area. We were chased away from our first spot- they have some very territorial geese in Boise! At one point the girls were all on top of the table screaming and clapping and trying to get the birds to leave.... kinda funny but even I was a bit freaked out at one point! I was shaking my keys at these geese to leave and they started in with their Satan Hiss.... I didn't like that at all! So needless to say, we chose another spot instead of taking our chances being pecked to death.
It was a great day catching up with my friends! I hope that we will be better at keeping in touch! There is a rumor of a beach weekend in our future! I can't wait for that! We will try to get a few others from our group to come and have our own mini reunion! We spent a couple hours together and it just wasn't long enough! I'm so glad that they were able to meet up with us! Thanks Dena and Amy!
