What bedtime?!

Last night I made the mistake of letting the girls stay up way past their bed time. It came back and bit me hard later that night as well as this morning, so I vowed that tonight I'd get them back on their schedule! So, when dinner was over, jammies on, teeth brushed and the chapter or two had been read, I thought we were all ready for bed... pretty much on time! We did the tuck in routine and then it was lights out..... then I heard foot steps. My first feeling was not one of amusement I must admit.. just when I was ready to pounce... I saw a little girl with blood streaming out of her mouth running down the stairs and a big sister with a grin a mile wide running behind her. Yes, Haley has lost yet another tooth and it seems that Hannah had talked her into letting big sis pull this one! In my humble opinion it was still a bit early, but none the less it is out, we are bleeding and very, very proud of our handiwork! Not only did we loose a tooth- how cool is that?.. but we delayed bedtime by at least 40 minutes! Double scores for the girlies... no score for the mommy! haha! In Hopie's defense, she slept through playing dentist and is still passed out on the floor in Hannah's room. Last week I vacuumed right next to her room once she was asleep and she didn't even stir! ( a first for me since usually I'm the shhhh Nazi once they go to sleep). Oh well, sleep is over-rated- at least that's what I tell myself! haha!




Way to go kid! You are keeping that tooth fairy very busy these days!

I had to put a stop to the dentist play when they told me that Hannah also had a loose tooth. It is no where close to ready so I did lay down the law about not pulling hers out- I'm pretty sure that the deal was a "I'll pull yours then you pull mine" type of thing. I"m hoping that I've put that dream to rest- at least for tonight. I'll keep you posted! :-)
