Scott is off again on another tour. This time he is going to Jordan and Egypt ( like the sound track?- you know me.. can't resist!) Last night or yesterday... or is it actually tomorrow? anyway, he flew out from here on Monday morning, had a 7 hour lay over in New York, then an 11 hour flight to Amman, Jordan. He's been there for a day... give or take... and has seen quite a few things already! He has been to the Jordan river and stood where they think Jesus was baptised, he's seen a few ruins of ancient cities, and has enjoyed a dip in the Dead Sea. He's even eaten a fish with the head still on it! Sounds like a packed trip so far! I have pictures that will be up soon. My favorite is the one of Monkey pondering "what would Jesus do" as he is hanging out at the river... kinda funny (and maybe bordering on little sac- religious)
I guess that I will give a girl update while I'm at it. We are doing great- Hopie is lots better- no fever!!! Hannah played hookie this morning. She said that her throat hurt and we'd had a crazy week already I let her stay home. We all slept in until 8:00 which never happens! She was feeling much better later in the morning so I don't think that it is anything too serious. Haley's cough has been better today too so we are on the up-swing!!! I am amazed at what 7 hours of sleep and a big ol coffee can do for a mama's outlook on life! What a difference a day makes! :-)

That's awesome! You are such a cool mom. Glad you are all feeling better and that Scott made it safely.
Happy everyone is feeling better. Long trip for Scott but what an opportunity. He and Monkey will have so many wonderful things to share when they return. Hope he is keeping a log of his adventures.
