Now if you know me at all you know that I love ,love, love what I do- being a mom and wife is great! There isn't anything that I'd rather be doing with my life right now and I'm very, very grateful to have my little family. ( and my big crazy family too for that matter...) However, it is the winter, in the Northwest, and my husband has been gone on a trip and is getting ready to go on another one- and I'm only human.. and weak... and.... ok you get the idea, but if I hear him say , "boy is it hot and sunny!" one more time I think I will snap! If you've been living under a rock, or have recently had your eyes plucked out by angry seagulls or something, you have missed the news and pictures of Scott in Mexico. Yes, dangerous, dusty, intestinal-ly challenging but still, sunny Mexico! He comes home tonight and we will be so happy to have him back! But alas, it will only be for 4 days until he gets to go to sunny Egypt and sunny Jordan. Really the only time that I have been jealous of Scott's adventure job is when he goes to the Sunny COAST of Mexico... now that's just mean! :-) But, we have a plan that one day I will go along- we are hoping it is next year hopefully around this time.. can you tell I need some sun therapy in February/March?
So, in honor of my small moment of self pity.. I sit here in my polar fleece, sweats, and wool socks, listening to Bob Seger and dream of running away to the sun...... of course I'd come back.... after awhile! :-) "Sun spot baby- she sure had a real good time!" Sing it Bob!

Awww Deb. You do better than I could ever do in your position. You are a great wife and mommy. Your family is so lucky to have you. You know you have an open invitation to come visit any time you want and spend as much time in the sun as you'd like. It's not quite as warm as sunny Mexico, but it is the beach! Love ya, chica!
We have sun...come visit and stay as long as you want. Weather today here is in the 50-60 range...can't beat that. Glad Scott is home and safe. Give hugs to the girls and Scott and save one for yourself. The gloomy days are on their way out... Turn on lights, open blinds, sing and have a happy day!
