I got to talk with Scott today for the first time in over a week! We have been very fortunate with his accommodations in Jordan and have been able to e-mail every so often, however, Egypt is turning out to be another story. I guess that they are charging crazy prices for Internet use- like $5 a minute! So today his boss Dan had pity on us and let Scott call me on the international emergency type phone that they have. I think that in reality Dan was missing his wife and called her first! :-) Unfortunately, I had trouble making the call. The trouble was that they texted me and gave me the info to call them since incoming calls were free or something.- but then the phone card wouldn't work. I tried for almost an hour to figure it out and then finally Dan's daughter called and gave me another card and the hotel info so I called directly to their room. It was so great to hear his voice but so hard to hang up! I've been so busy since he's been gone and we have missed him a ton but hearing his voice was kind of hard on all of us. We're ready for him to be back now.. but I know we can make it through the next 9 days! :-) Hopefully it will just speed by!
I guess that he almost didn't get to go on his flight from Jordan to Egypt- something about all of his papers not being in order? But he made it! He visited the pyramids yesterday and said that they were amazing. I'm not really sure what he has planned next. They were going to do a cruise but I think that got bumped to another day. Their itinerary has been changed from what I have so I'm just trusting that he's safe and having a great time! He was on a ship last night and I guess they did everything from cheezy karokee to belly dancing?! I guess e and Dan were not too impressed although I think I would have loved it!?
The girls are doing fine. They went to bed early tonight. I had a conference with Haley's teacher today and she is doing great. We also had a play date with some friends that we haven't seen in awhile so that was fun. It was a good day but full!

It's good to hear that all of you are doing well. So what exactly is it you would have loved? The karaoke or the belly dancing??
I think belly dancing would be halarious! Don't you?
Aw, I'm sure it was hard to end that phone call. I know you can last 9 more days. Staying busy is a good strategy!
As long as I am not the one doing it!! =) Right now my belly can dance on it's own without any effort on my part! Who in the world wants to see THAT??!
