Our girls have recently discovered Happy Days on dvd from our local library. They are so into it! Too funny. On that disc, there are some previews and Haley's favorite at the moment is one for Lavern and Shirley. Squiggy says (in a horrid New York accent I might add) , " I wodda won my tuxudo but my pooda pooda ate it"... translation: "I would have worn my tuxedo but my stupid pooddle ate it." Haley has no idea what the quote really says, what a tuxedo is or who Squiggy is... but none the less, she says this at least 100 times a day in her New York accent and then they all 3 crack up for minutes on end. In their world this never gets old.. wish I lived in their world! :-)
Hope told me the other night that her tooth hurt and pointed to the roof of her mouth. When I questioned her farther it was her ear and "it had critters in there that hurt mom!".... I suggested that we put in the ear drops and then amazingly the pain left... her tooth, mouth, ear and the pain in my neck were all gone in one fell swoop!
Haley asked me what language God spoke tonight. I said all of them! She then turned to me with a mouth full of toothpaste and said ," so if I say hola Goda he'll know I said hi?" I think we need to do a bit more work on our Spanish before she heads South with her daddy... but the thought is sweet!
On other God stuff... Hannah was asking me what people in Mexico believe. I told her the same as here - different people believe different things but in my experience most people in Mexico are Catholic. Then I had to spend the next 15 minutes discussing the difference between Catholicism and Protestantism, how we are the same, what we do differently, and we ended our prayer time tonight with crossing ourselves. Man I need to get to Kara's church for a visit. Hannah is so interested in the Catholic faith.. maybe this weekend! I love how all this seems to take place when the person with a degree in this stuff is out of town! :-)

I love the conversations at your house. They are so sweet, funny, interesting...you name it! I love how cultured your girls are! You go mom!
you should ask my Mom about Catholosism, she always wanted to be one as a kid so she could wear Sunday gloves and fancy hats...
Those are great! You do a great job of answering all those questions.
