The girls were sick today and stayed home from school. Haley's fever finally broke this afternoon and she ate dinner tonight so I think she's on the mend! Hannah took about a 3 hour nap and her coughing has seemed to get better. Her ear ache and sore throat seem to not be bothering her as much so I think she'll be back at school tomorrow. Haley has a scheduled day off anyway so she'll get one more day to recoup. Hopie is doing well.. however, she is mastering the "fake cough"... never a dull moment!
It is raining here again and being sick and all I decided that we needed a little Spring. So... I broke out the fun fetti cake mix and frosting and we had a little fun. Now if only the real flowers would start to come!

Oh eternal optomist - You are seriously the cheeriest, chipperest (a word?) person on the FACE OF THE EARTH and you rock! You made cupcakes when anyone else would be crying, way to go Deb! I love that you are my sister. I am so glad to hear that things are looking up and that the girls are feeling better. And remember, the beach is drawing nigh...the waves roll in the waves roll out...

Glad you are all better or at least on the mend. Having party time heals lots. Cupcakes are a good tonic, huh? Hope the sun is shining today for you...you need it. Congratulations on getting your quota of students...you're amazing...Steve came out last night for dinner and Liverpool. He brought Abe, what a dog! We had fun.
