One More Branson Visit

Today my parents treated the girls and me to a show at Branson. It was called Broadway Favorites or something like that and it was lots of fun. They sang and danced numbers from lots and lots of different Broadway Musicals. Hannah's favorite was Oklahoma and was quickly followed by Somewhere Over the Rainbow from the Wizard of Oz. Hope liked the dancers.. all of them and Haley liked it all. She couldn't come up with a favorite part and it cracked me up when they had some dancers dressed up as flappers... I could sooooo see my Haley doing the Charleston right there with them. I'm sure that we are going to be hit up for dance lessons next! The girls were not too impressed with the Phantom of the Opera part and I was a bit squeamish when they did Chicago's "he had it commin'"... not really what you hope that your little girls will be humming on the playground ha ha ha! But overall we love, love, loved it!
We also got in a bit of shopping and all got new tennis shoes! Thanks mom and dad! Just in time for back to school! We also went to eat at Bob Evans and had a great carb filled mid west meal ..... mmm mmm good! We came home for a quick dip in the pool then off to bed to dream of showtunes and dancing.
Overall, I had a great anniversary today.. just no husband to spend it with ha ha! Scott is in Mexico on a planning trip in the Copper Canyon. Today he rode a train into a pretty remote part of Mexico that is known for it's banditos and drug rings... nice.... and also some great scenery. I can't forget that part! haha! I guess that the canyon is like our Grand Canyon and is pretty spectacular. I can't wait to hear all about it! Hope that you had a great day too honey! Happy 14th!
