Last Friday morning Scott and I left the kids with mom and dad and went to
Branson to celebrate our 14
th anniversary a couple weeks early. We had a great time. We took in the spirit of the dance show at 10 a.m. Who knew that people could Irish dance that early in the morning? It was great! Our next show was the Acrobats of China. This show was really, really cool. Almost every "trick" that they did left us saying "no way!" They did some really cool flips and things but the best was when this girl that had to be about 9 balanced on top of 5 chairs on one hand and then contorted her body into this pretzel deal ..... it's way to hard to explain.. and not even possible to show you-
haha.. but none the less, it was very cool.
We finished off the evening with an
Australian dinner at the Outback- not the chain but an authentic
Australian place. I was a chicken and got shrimp.. no gator for me.. or would that be
croc? Probably
Croc... but it's late here and since I didn't order it it really doesn't matter anyway...
Anyhoo...we enjoyed sleeping in and the went on a dinner cruise on the Showboat
Branson Belle. It was a great ending to a fun get away. The boat was so neat and the show was wonderful!
