Hannah learns to ride without training wheels!!!

One drawback to our neighborhood is that we are packed in here like sardines so it's hard to find a space where you can learn to ride a bike. For that you need open spaces... something that we are lacking.... so when we went on vacation we decided that it was time to learn to ride without training wheels. Hannah is extremely cautious but did a great job! Way to go big kid!
Here she is getting some help from dad. The balance thing was a bit tricky, and then the stopping thing, but she got it down! It was so neat to see her and her dad accomplishing this big thing together!

Here is one of dad's many pep talks/ visual aid speeches. Love to see a grown man on a slumber party pink and purple bike complete with shiny tassels! Way to go dad! That's true love! :-)

Even Hopie wanted to get in on the action. The best part of Hope's bike is of course the princess horn. She does really well on her bike and it won't be long before she's on her own. Right now she can peddle like crazy but doesn't steer.... it doesn't always work out the way she would like. But the horn, that's always fun!

Haley zooms around like the dare devil that she is. I know that she will be starting to make jumps and trying to pop wheelies like her uncle Dave soon.... and by the way, thanks uncle Dave for showing her that.... I'll get you back some day! -or I'll send you the doctor bill- which ever comes first :)

Way to go Hannah. Our boys learned how to do that this spring. It is so exciting, and fun to ride without training wheels.
