ahhhhh,....

so for the record, today has been much better..very, very busy and much, much better! I started off the day with the walk to school, then had plans of priming a wall to paint but instead had a great "detour" to my morning by having doughnuts and hot cocoa with 2 really good pals. I'll take pastry with pals over priming any ol day! One friend had dropped her kid off at pre-school and had a "less than pleasant drop off experience" so she got treats and came a callin'....and the other was Mel... always my side kick.
We spent a good part of the morning on Mel's living room floor hanging out, playing the wii - love the boxing game....and hot potato with the kids... it was a great break for all of us! :)

After getting ready for the day ( around 10:00) I picked Haley up at the bus stop, dropped her and Hopie next door then went to volunteer at Hannah's class. We had a playdate with two extra girlies after school then took dinner to a friend down the street who just had her first baby! While we were eating, Tiffany called to remind me that Cold stone was having their free ice cream night... so I loaded up the girls in the van, met Tiffany and Jack, and we had dessert together!

My goal now is to get the girlies in bed so when Scott comes home he can read a story, tuck them in, then I can have his undivided attention and a grown up conversation.... we'll see how that plan goes :) .... I'm a firm believer in having a plan- even if it is plan c, d, e, it's still a plan! :-)

Sounds like a sweet day for you! You've got to love friends like that. I agree about the plan...I'm a big planner, here!

Great day Debbie. Sounds like you had fun, fun, fun. Wondered about the loading of the van...grammar speaking, ha! Who was your 3rd grade teacher, anyhow?

Just got home from a huge YTB Meeting...dinner at Mr. Yens was good and the spirit of the 250 plus people reminded me of cheers at a ballgame. Nighty Night. Love, Mom

I'm glad you had a better day! Yay! And I hope you do get to have some big people time with your hubby. I bet he would love it, too.

To my 3rd grade teacher... the gramatical errors are now corrected... however, if spell check doesn't work properly, you are out of luck :-)... love you mom!
