My Second Baby's Gone to School!!!

Today Haley started Kindergarten- she was a bit nervous about it but once this morning rolled around she was excited to go!Here are the two sister's on the front porch! When did they get so big?!
Here's our Kindergartner in her new school duds. She tried on this outfit on every day for over a month. She couldn't wait to wear it!

Off to school! The girls are doing a great job at walking! This morning I had them bundle up but once we got moving.. our layers started coming off-

Once at School Haley found her friend Hailey. They are in the same class and hadn't seen each other all summer. Haley's sister Mira has been in the same class as Hannah since Kindergarten. I"m excited that Haley knows Lauren and Hailey already... not that she'll have any trouble making new friends.... :)

Can you believe that we're in Kindergarten?!?!

OK, so yes she looks like her dad.....

but I don't think that there is any way we can say she doesn't look like her mama! Kinda scary!

Here is Mrs. Cottons classroom. She was very nice and let parents come in for 3 minutes to take pictures. Then she said, "We're going to get started parents so everyone wave!"... slick.. very slick! I can tell she's done this once or twice! ha! Haley did a great job transitioning into the class.. I hung in there but was in a bit of a funk on the way home. It was so strange to just have Hopie all morning!

So now I have two that are almost too cool for school.... the glasses crack me up! After school Scott picked Haley up and took her to Roundtable Pizza for lunch. They had a great time then came home and took a nap!

How funny, very similar post to mine! It is so weird to have kids this old. It doesn't mean we are getting older too does it? I can't be old enough to have a 1st grader! I agree with you on not knowing how I will do when all the kids go to school. I will just have to keep having new foster kids or adopt some more so I always have a baby or toddler! If I do that, will I be permenently enrolled in MOPS?

Aw, great pictures. I'm glad it all went great...aside from your funk on the way home from school.

Congratulations, Haley, on your first day of kindergarten!!!
