Boys will be Boys...

Yesterday my friend Angela had to work but her two boys had the day off from school so I was lucky enough to get a little boy power in the house for the morning! Now having 4 brothers I thought that I understood boy power, but now I understand why my parents always, always ,always had at least 5 acres growing up... usually much more! Holy cow! The door bell rang at 7:45 and the energy level doubled (at least) in our house! By 8:30 I thought that it was going to be a long, long day... Dukar and Brogan are really sweet kids, just really active! So, if you can't beat them, join them! I didn't want any more running, jumping, sword fighting, hi-ya-ing in the house and of course it was pouring down rain outside... so I went to the garage, shoved all the boxes and junk to one side and inflated our bounce house! That thing has come in handy on many, many occasions! My neighbor Kim gave it to us because as she put it .. " you'll know how to put it to good use or find someone who can".... boy was I that someone on Wednesday!

Here is Haley waiting her turn. She had Wednesday off as well. Hannah was the only kid that had to go to school!

Here's a happy Brogan! He's so darn cute! I did have to put him in time-out though when he locked me out of the house when I took the garbage out! That little turkey! :-)

I made Dukar's first goal to jump 300 times in a row.... then I bumped it to 400 times.... I made the poor kid jump until jumping wasn't really fun anymore! They finally asked if they could go inside and watch t.v.! Yeah!!!! Music to my ears!

Here's Hopie getting into the action. She was still in her jammies, hanging out in the garage, jumping her heart out! I did manage to get breakfast down her before the fun started... but that's about it! She finally got dressed around 11 just in time to go get Hannah at noon! Ahh, that's the life!
