HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS!!!
This year the girls wanted a puppy party, so a puppy party they had! I looked and looked for a space to have the party.... other than our
living room... but I could not find one (for what I considered a reasonable price)... so I broke down and had it at our house! It was fun for sure but also a lesson in "controlled chaos!"- but that's pretty much my life so I should be used to that right?
18 kids, 4 in-laws and some face paint later our home quickly became the pound! A big BARK goes out to Auntie
Brigetta for her lovely face painting abilities.... how was I to know that the black had some sort of special dye in it that caused the kids to break out in a red rash?... thankfully it was gone for most of them before their parents picked them up! But it was lots of fun while it lasted! ( until right before the pup-cakes when we first noticed the redness)....
Our party was complete with a "doggy bag" that the kids got to decorate, then they moved on over to the "dig pit" for some treats! They made "leashes" (fleece scarves with dog prints on them) and had a grooming area where they could brush, blow dry, and fluff their adopted dogs.
Some kids were even a little naughty and had to be put in the dog house! But they were so cute they didn't have to stay there long! In the top left we have Hailey J hiding behind my Haley and May, Top right is Hailey J and

Wow, what am amazing party. I know what you mean about chaos in the house, I really want to have Ben's party someplace else this year! We've always done them here, though... I am very impressed with how beautifully you pulled it all off. Good job mama!
