Today after picking Hannah up from school we went on a little fall field trip. I noticed a beautiful tree about 2 miles away so I loaded up the girls and the camera and we went to have some spur of the moment fun! The girls had a blast in the leaves, kicking, throwing, jumping, etc. etc. and watching a grey squirrel run around. I can't remember how many times we sang "Grey squirel, grey squirel, shake your bushy tail".... I"m sure that people driving by thought we were a bit strange shaking our fannies every time we saw that rodent!
We have taken a "lay in the leaf" picture each year and it is usually my favorite!.... or a close second to the wheelbarrow pics! Don't be surprised if you see something like it for a Christmas card.
I'm still figuring out our camera. It is much smarter than I am but I"m learning! We are hoping to find a few red trees maybe tomorrow. The weather here has turned to more "usual fall" stuff.... ok, it's rain and cold but I"m trying to stay positive! I'm hoping to get a few more fall pics in before everything turns brown! :-) Stay tuned!

Thank you for the wonderful compliment. Your outing was fantastic, pictures superb and models the best. Hope you can capture some other colors too...
Imagine the squirrel was delighted to have company.
Great pictures! I've been longing to get some leafy pics, myself, but I think I have waited too long. Everything's wet, now! Anyway, your girls look so happy, and like they really enjoy each other. I loved the photos. :)
