Last night Brigetta had a fabulous idea to go down to the heart of Portland in Pioneer Square and see the huge Christmas tree all decked out in lights. Of course we were game since it is the season to go see lights! And as if that wasn't enough excitement for one evening, we also got to ride the MAX ( Portland's mas transit train/trolley deal) A train ride and a tree! Our girls were ecstatic! Way to go Auntie B! Great plan! Scott, Granny, Brigetta, Evelyn, the 3 H's and I all had a great time! We finished off the evening with hot cocoa and then I told the girls a story about a squirrel who was stuck in the tree... not as good as one of Scott's Carlos the Coyote stories but it worked!

I started a little rumor that it was really squirrels who strung all the little white lights on all the trees along the streets, how else did they get up that high?.... Hannah thought about it, Haley suggested the men probably just used a latter, duh. She's a smart one that Haley :)
Debbie, thanks for sharing your fun holiday with us. The hiking through the wilderness brings back my hiking days of long ago. What beautiful scenery!
Know you had a great time going to the Pioneer Area and the Christmas play is ready to be published, pictures, props, and all. Have a great week...
Wow! You are the posting queen! Is there an award for most posts in a day? =)
You do such a great job creating memories for your family! Thanks for sharing them with us, too!
Way cool, Deb! Wish we could have been able to make the trip with you guys. Though, you probably would have been "gifted" our stomach virus, so it's a good thing we stayed home. :) Glad you're back and had a great time.
